Our story
Started because the alternative was not good enough
The company began with two officers, one van and a contract on a builder's merchant that had been robbed twice in a month. The site had been paying for security the whole time. What it did not have was anybody checking that the guard was awake, on site, or real.
That is still the whole idea. We keep the paperwork honest, we roster the same people to the same sites, and we let clients audit us whenever they feel like it. It is not a complicated pitch, but in this industry it turns out to be a rare one.
Today we cover several hundred sites across United Kingdom and beyond, with a control room that has never once gone unstaffed.
What we hold ourselves to
Four values, and we will show you the evidence for each
Verifiable
Licence numbers, screening records and patrol logs are open to you at any time, not just at tender.
Consistent
Named officers on named sites. Cover staff are briefed before they arrive, never on the gate.
Responsive
A supervisor answers within three rings, day or night, or the escalation number does.
Straight
A fixed hourly rate, no hidden management fee, and we will tell you when you need less cover than you asked for.
Credentials
The things a client is entitled to check
- Every officer holds a current, in-date SIA licence, verified on the public register before their first shift and re-checked quarterly.
- Screening to BS 7858, covering five years of employment history, references and a basic DBS check as a minimum.
- Public and employer liability insurance of GBP 10 million, with certificates issued to clients on request.
- Written assignment instructions for every site, reviewed with you at least once a year.
- Data handled under UK GDPR, with a retention policy covering footage, logs and personal records.
- Working Time Regulations respected. We do not roster a tired officer onto your gate to save a shift.
